Translate the layout into work
For a 6x8 shower layout, compare end-wall and corner configurations using finished measurements. Coordinate drain placement and glass support for the selected option. Identify the floor and wall restoration required if the enclosure shape differs from the existing bathing area.
Verify before procurement
A room-size label does not establish installation clearances or available framing depth. The measured drawing should include finished surfaces, openings, fixture projections and drain positions. Assign field verification before ordering products. Where an arrangement changes plumbing or structure, identify that work separately so the price reflects the actual layout rather than a generic room package. Also label retained fixtures and adjacent finishes that must be protected or repaired during installation.
Why include glass on the initial plan?
