For a remodel without moving plumbing, identify the fixture centerlines that remain and the connections that will be renewed. State whether the valve, traps, drain assembly and supply connections are included. This prevents a location-saving scope from being misread as a promise that no plumbing labor is required.

Check that the written proposal names the products, defines the demolition boundary and explains the connection to retained work. Identify any allowance or unresolved selection, and ask who coordinates the relevant trades. Agree how concealed conditions will be documented and how changes require authorization. A broad installation label leaves too much room for different assumptions about what the finished project includes.
How should savings be evaluated?
Compare two defined scopes: retained fixture locations and the proposed relocation alternative. Differences in access, demolition and finish repairs matter alongside pipework; a generic percentage does not establish the difference for this room.
